Starting over in a new city takes courage, but for Ariona Mosby, it also marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter. As a registered nurse transitioning into the world of aesthetics, Ariona is combining her medical background with a passion for beauty and confidence. Now based in Dallas, she’s stepping into the med spa industry with a focus on treatments like Botox and lip enhancements, aiming to help clients feel like the best version of themselves. In this interview, Ariona shares her journey, her perspective on aesthetic care, and what it means to build a brand in a new city.

What inspired you to transition from being a registered nurse to the aesthetic/med spa

field?

I have been a registered nurse for seven years, with experience in bedside care, surgery, and

caring for critically ill patients. Throughout my career, I’ve always been passionate about patient care and making a positive impact on how my patients feel. Transitioning into aesthetic nursing has allowed me to combine my clinical expertise with my passion for helping patients feel confident and empowered. While bedside nursing focuses on healing, aesthetics provides an opportunity to enhance both health and self-image, giving patients a more holistic experience. To me, aesthetic nursing is not just about appearance; it’s about education, professionalism, and building trust with patients. As healthcare continues to evolve, I feel grateful to have experienced multiple areas of nursing, and I am excited to grow in a field that allows me to restore, enhance, and improve both the physical and emotional well being of my patients.

What’s one skincare habit everyone should start doing today?

One skin care habit I wish I had started earlier is applying sunscreen every day; it’s so necessary and important.

What do you enjoy most about helping clients feel confident in their appearance?

What I enjoy most is really taking the time to understand my clients’ needs and building that trust with them. Everyone has their own goals, and I love being able to listen and help bring their vision to life in a way that still feels natural and true to them.

What is your favorite place to go to in Dallas for quality girl time?

I am still new to Dallas, but I love Bishop Arts! A good happy hour and girl talk are always on the agenda.

Matcha or Lattes?

I enjoy lattes, specifically vanilla bean with Caramel Drizzle, especially because I have never had Matcha. I’m getting around to it... haha.

Are you interested in meeting new friends? And what do you like to do for fun?

I am definitely interested in making new friends. I’ve met so many great people already, and being a nurse has helped me build new relationships. I love fun workouts, trying new restaurants, art museums, pool days, basically anything that will get me out of my apartment.

HER EXPERIENCE WITH SIGNED...

What was your experience like during your photoshoot, and did it help you feel more

confident about launching this new chapter in your career?

My experience working with you was honestly amazing. I really appreciated how you took the time to set up a Zoom call beforehand to go over my vision. We were able to brainstorm ideas, and it helped me feel more prepared and excited. During the photoshoot, you made me feel so comfortable and confident, and I actually had a lot of fun. I feel like that really showed in the photos. It definitely gave me a boost of confidence and made me feel ready to step into this new chapter.

Thank you again. I’ll definitely be back!
